General notes: (about the organism that will not change over time)
- The striations of the fungi gives me hesitation to call it a cup fungi (maybe it is more related to bracket fungi), however, the upturned cup leads me to classify it as cup fungi. This morphotype is usually found in the rain forest floor that is drier.
