• Ginger on MB Trail

General notes: (about the organism that will not change over time)

• Was found almost half-way around the Maliau Basin Trail from the bridge, darkish green leaves, unknown flower placement, hairs only a bit on stem, small petiole-like leaf base present, strong midrub with some visible veination, in primary lowland forest habitat, no organisms seen crawling on it, ~75cm tall and 3cm stem diameter, herbaceous and smooth stem

• no organisms seen climbing on it (location: In the primary forest of the Maliau Basin, more than 10m from a river, but still relatively cool and moist, microhabitat: on the side of the trail, underneath some large trees, height: 0.75 m75 cm
