General notes: (about the organism that will not change over time)

• These termites were dark-colored with smooth-bodied workers and ridged-bodied soldiers. They had lightly-colored legs, and the workers were slightly larger than the soldiers. Soldiers have the similar nozzles common to many termite species.

• These termites were found in a trail going up a tree high in the canopy. (location: Canopy Walk, microhabitat: High in the canopy on a tree trunk, date: 28 June 2010, obs code: Obs62)
