- A termite nest constructed on the surface of a log which completely covers the bottom side of the log's surface and even protrudes downwards in long thin chambers. Soldiers and workers are pale brown with smooth thoraxes and abdomens, and soldiers have enlarged, darkly colored mandibles, and enlarged heads.
