Lambir water strider project (argument)

Premises Though we expected density to have a significant effect on the size of the territory of each individual strider, we observed that population density did not appear to have a great influence on the territory of the strider. While we were not able to observe a reduction in territory size in relation to population density, this relationship may still exist. With improved sampling methods and further study we may discern this relationship, especially since density seems to have an effect in social interactions of water striders.

Statement Despite what has been found in other cases, in this particular case we did not find a reduction in territory size in relation to population density.
