Cam Webb

As a biologist, I work primarily on the plants of Alaska and Indonesia, with research interests that include ecology, biogeography, phylogenetics, taxonomy and biodiversity informatics. I am currently a Research Affiliate at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. As a global citizen, I am concerned about climate change, social resilience, and forest stewardship. I lived in Indonesia from 2005 to 2015 (mainly in West Kalimantan/Borneo), but now live near Fairbanks, Alaska. I still advise a Kalimantan healthcare and conservation project (ASRI; and US partner, Health in Harmony) focused on the Gunung Palung national park.
